The technical regulation on the safety of gas appliances entered into force |

On 1st January 2011 came into force the Technical Regulation on the safety of gas appliances. The new rule provide for mandatory application of technical rules on safety and energy efficiency of appliances burning gaseous fuel. Particular attention is paid to the identification of equipment, the standards referred to in the certification, environmental protection, chemical properties, mechanical properties, thermal resistance and electrical protection, explosion protection, the marking, packaging and manuals. According the Technical Regulation the gas appliances are as follows: appliances for heating and food preparation, boilers (including components and accessories are fitted to such devices used separately from them), with furnaces and automatic devices in the burner burners which are used machines. According to the new technical regulations, the equipment listed above will be tested by an accredited certification body. Certification can be done in the form of mandatory certification and as a declaration of conformity, depending on the type of device.
