Copies of conformity documents - authentication requirements

1. Manufacturer or importer of the Customs Union: If the holder of the Document of Compliance is a manufacturer or importer of the Customs Union (company or sole proprietorship), a copy of the document is considered valid if the same is affixed the stamp and Signature of the document, with the words "Copy of the original". If a manufacturer or importer sells its products through distributors officers (in the presence of a distribution contract writing), copies of certificates can be authenticated in the manner described above. Otherwise, copies can be authenticated only by the body which issued the document by a notary or Russian (see next point).
2. Foreign manufacturer (Europe, USA, etc.): If the holder of the Document of Compliance is a foreign manufacturer, a copy of the document is considered valid in the following cases: 1) if it has been authenticated by the certification or the Federal Service which issued the document, in the manner described in the preceding paragraph; 2) if the copy was notarized Russian.
