Six new Technical Regulations of the Customs Union came into force

The February 15, 2013 marked the end and the beginning of a new era in the field of certification of machines in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Farewell to the famous GOST R/ RT, GOST K, GOST B for machines, gas appliances, lifts, electrical and electronic products. Strong impact on manufacturers and exporters in the next shipment of products covered by the new Technical Regulations of the Customs Union to the countries of EurAsEC.
On 15/02/2013 entered into force the following Technical Regulations (Directives) of the Customs Union:
1) Technical Regulation No. 004/2011 on the safety of low-voltage equipment (Low Voltage Directive of the Customs Union);
2) Technical Regulation No. 010/2011 On the safety of machinery and equipment (Machinery Directive of the Customs Union);
3) Technical Regulation No. 011/2011 Safety of lifts (Directive on lifts of the Customs Union);
4) Technical Regulation No. 012/2011 On safety of equipment for work in explosive environments (ATEX Directive of the Customs Union);
5) Technical Regulation No. 016/2011 On safety of devices operating on gaseous fuel (Gas Appliances Directive of the Customs Union);
6) Technical Regulation No. 020/2011 Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means (EMC Directive of the Customs Union);
From 15/02/2013 the issuance of national type certificates and declarations of conformity is prohibited. Certificates and declarations of conformity issued before the entry into force of the above-mentioned Technical regulations will be valid until 15/03/2015, only on the territory of the member State that issued them.
Products that have undergone conformity assessment in the framework of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union must be marked with a single mark of conformity EAC. |
