Entered into force the first Technical Regulation of the Customs Union

On 15/02/2012 entered into force the first Technical Regulation of the Customs Union CU TP 006/2011 "On safety of fireworks". The effect of this regulatory document covers produced for circulation in the territory of the Customs Union fireworks, regardless of their country of origin. Requirements affecting, in particular, household and entertainment pyrotechnics, lighting and signal pyrotechnics, fireworks, as well as industrial, educational and
tourist pyrotechnics.
According to the decision of the Commission CU, certificates and declarations of compliance with the requirements established by national legislation of member states or the TC Union regulations remain in effect until their expiration date, but no later than August 15, 2013.
In the presence of the above mentioned documents, issued before the entrance into force of the Technical regulation "On the safety of fireworks," the production and release into circulation of the pyrotechnic products is allowed until August 15, 2013.
Pyrotechnic products within the scope of the Technical regulation, shall be marked with a national mark of conformity. Marking products with a single mark of conformity of the Customs Union is prohibited.
From the date of entry into force of Technical regulation "On safety of fireworks" issuance of documents to confirm compliance with the requirements established by previous legislation of member countries of the Customs Union or the regulations of the TC is prohibited. |
