Following numerous reports by the Federal Customs Service, who complained of persistent breach by the certification bodies of the Russian Government Resolution No. 766, which establishes procedures for issuing and recording of the declaration of conformity GOST R, the Federal Agency for technical regulation and metrology, issued a statement to the leaders of certification bodies. The statement reads that the Federal Customs Service reports that at the time of customs clearance of
goods are often made declarations of conformity issued in violation of the law. Among the deficiencies most frequently encountered are: Failure to indicate the expiration date of the document of compliance, the person signing the document that is not authorized, forging the signature of the expert (experts) engaged in the inspection of the product. To counteract this phenomenon, the Federal Agency for technical regulation and metrology in the coming weeks will control the activity of certification bodies involved. Violators will cancel the certificate of accreditation. In this regard it is worth noting that since the beginning of 2011 during inspection of the Federal Agency for technical regulation and metrology only in Moscow has suspended or canceled 12 certificates of accreditation to certification bodies. Below is the list of certificates suspended or canceled.
