Published the draft of Technical Regulation for paints and varnishes

On the website of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology was published the first draft version of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union on the security of paints and varnishes.
The draft document was prepared by experts of the Committee for technical regulation and metrology of the Ministry of Industry and New Technology of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The normative document intended to regulate the production and placing on the market of the Member States of enamels, paints, varnishes, adhesives, oil paints (including enamels and games), art paintings, polyacetal, polyester, epoxy and more. The full list of products covered by Regulation No technician is available in Annex 1 of the document.

The technical regulations shall not apply to nail polish, enamels and paints commissioned by the Ministry of Defense, the laboratory samples, enamels and varnishes for advertising purposes, to the production wastes and waste.
The document provides that the assessment of conformity of these products is carried out as a declaration of conformity and state control during the sale to the public.
